Servies - Rhoda Strange

Rhoda E. Strange Servies was born in Hendricks County Jan 25, 1837, and died at Brownsvalley, August 30. She married John P. Servies Feb 9, 1854. There were 7 children of whom four are living. She joined the Primitive Baptist Church when she was 14 and remained a faithful and constant member. The funeral at the Bpatist Church was conducted by Rev. Mr. Oliphant assisted by Rev. S.K. Fuson. Interment at Indian Creek cemetery by the side of her husband who died June 25, 1903. -- kbz
